Description
It is a late-maturing, high-quality fresh-eating variety. The flesh is milky white, crisp, and juicy, with high sugar content. The soluble solids content is approximately 30.5%, acidity 1.21%, and vitamin C content 5.62 mg/100 g. The fruit matures from late September to early October. Winter Jujube exhibits early and abundant fruiting, is self-pollinating, sets fruit very reliably, and shows almost no alternate bearing, allowing for consistent annual yields.
The fruit is nearly round, with a smooth and even surface. The average fruit weight is about 20 g, and the skin is thin, turning light reddish-brown at full maturity. The flesh is tender, crisp, and sweet, with no sourness and a strong, pleasant aroma. When fully red, the sugar content can reach 31.8%, making it a large-fruited, extra-sweet variety.
