Description
It is an early-ripening pear variety bred through sexual hybridization, using Korla Fragrant Pear as the female parent and Early Crisp Pear as the male parent. This variety combines the sweet, crisp qualities of its mother with the early maturity, juiciness, and fine texture of its father. It grows vigorously, blossoms in April, and can be harvested by mid-June.
The fruit is ovate, medium to large in size, with an average weight of about 200 g and a maximum of up to 240 g. The skin is thin, green as the base color, with a few striped red blushes on the sun-exposed side, smooth and glossy in appearance; lenticels are relatively large and densely distributed. The flesh is white, crisp, and juicy, with very few stone cells, offering a mildly sweet taste and excellent quality. The core is small, and the soluble solids content is around 12.1%.
It has a long harvest period of about one month, suitable for staggered picking. The fruit is resistant to storage and transportation, and under cold storage conditions, it can be preserved until April–May of the following year while maintaining good quality.
