Spring Peach Wax Apple (春之桃莲雾)

Also known as Kaohsiung No. 2 Wax Apple.

It is a premium pink wax apple variety renowned for its exceptionally large fruit size and beautiful seasonal color changes.

It produces some of the largest wax apples currently available, with an average fruit weight of around 250 g (8.8 oz) and exceptional fruits exceeding 500 g (17.6 oz). Its skin color also changes with the seasons: deep red in winter and spring, while in summer it develops an attractive soft pink, peach-like color, earning it the nickname “Wax Apple of Honey Peach.”

Despite its delicate pink appearance, the fruit maintains a solid 11–12° Brix sweetness. The thin, tender skin, crisp texture, abundant juice, and lack of fibrous residue create an exceptionally refreshing eating experience.

The variety has also received recognition in Pingtung, Taiwan, winning a Best Fruit Visual Award for its outstanding appearance.
