Pan Jujube (蟠枣)

Description

Also known as Jing Cang No.1 Pan Jujube, selectively bred from a bud mutation of Pear jujube, is named for its resemblance to the flat peach (Pan Peach). It has large fruits, with an average weight of 45 grams and a maximum of up to 80 grams. Maturing in early September, it has a low fiber content, a high sugar level of 35.4%, and a delightfully crisp, sweet-tart taste. This variety also boasts high yields, making it highly desirable for fresh consumption.
