Description
The Late Red Apricot is a late-ripening apricot variety, with fruit maturing in July. The fruits are nearly round, uniform in size, with an average single-fruit weight of about 68 g.
The skin has a yellow base color with a purple-red blush, fully colored at maturity. It is smooth, glossy, and has very little fuzz.
The flesh is yellow, firm, and resilient, with medium-coarse fibers and good juiciness. The flavor is sweet-tart with a light aroma. The fruit is freestone, and the kernel is full but bitter.
