Description
Jinyuan Yellow Peach is a high-quality, mid- to late-maturing fresh-eating yellow peach variety. The average fruit weight is 206 g, with the largest reaching 270 g. The fruit is nearly round and fairly symmetrical, with a round, flat tip and a distinct suture. The skin is yellow, with about 25% red blush when unbagged, while bagged fruit develops a golden-yellow surface. The skin is thin and easy to peel. The flesh is yellow, with little red coloration, juicy, and has a texture ranging from soft to dense. Soluble solids content is 12.2%–14.5%, giving it a rich sweetness and excellent fresh-eating quality.
The main harvest period is mid-July. The variety produces pollen, so no pollinizer trees or artificial pollination are required.
