Early Yingsi Yangmei (特早硬丝杨梅)

Description

This variety has a strong growth habit, with a semi-spreading, flat-round crown shape. The male and female flowers can appear on the same branch, the same inflorescence, or different branches. It is highly productive and early-bearing. The fruit has a long stem and turns purplish-black when ripe. The average fruit weight is 16-30 grams. The flesh is soft and juicy, with a sweet and sour flavor. In its place of origin, it matures in mid to late April. It is currently one of the earliest maturing, medium-to-large fruit bayberry varieties being developed for economic cultivation, with good market prospects.
