Description
It is a mutant variety of Prince Anhai Yangmei, with an average single-fruit weight of about 20 grams. The tree blooms in late February, and the fruit ripens in mid-May, about 3–4 days earlier than Prince Anhai. The flavor is soft, glutinous, and sweet, with a subtle rose-like aroma. When harvested from the same orchard, it is considered superior in taste to both Biqi and Prince Anhai.
At full maturity, the flesh columns are plump and spongy, providing a smooth mouthfeel without any prickliness. The fruit skin turns a uniform deep black when ripe. During the ripening period, the fruit shows excellent rain resistance and does not drop easily even after several consecutive days of rainfall.
