Description
Babao Dan Plum ripens in late June. The fruit is medium to large in size, with an average single fruit weight of 50–70 g. When fully mature, the skin develops an even purplish-red to dark red blush and is covered with a thin layer of white bloom. The fruit is resistant to cracking.
The flesh is orange-yellow to light yellow, fine-textured, crisp and tender, with relatively high sweetness (13–17° Brix). Some fruits carry a light natural aroma. The flesh is firm, giving the fruit good storage and transport tolerance.
