Abe White Peach (阿部白桃)

Abe White Peach is a high-quality, mid-to-late maturing, firm-flesh peach variety bred from a cross between the Okubo peach and the white peach. The fruit is short-oval in shape and very large, with an average weight of about 365 g and a maximum weight of up to 750 g. The skin is evenly colored in a vivid, full red, giving it exceptional visual appeal. The flesh is firm, of the non-melting type, semi-clingstone, with excellent flavor and a soluble solids content of 14%–16%.

This variety ripens in late July, has outstanding storage and transport tolerance, and can be kept at room temperature for 20–30 days without affecting its quality.
