Description
Zuijinxiang is a premium tetraploid Euro-American hybrid table grape developed by the Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was bred from a cross between Shenyang Rose as the female parent and Kyoho as the male parent.
The clusters are exceptionally large, with an average cluster weight of about 800 g and a maximum reaching 1,800 g. Clusters are conical in shape and compact in structure.
Berries are very large, with an average single-berry weight of 13.0 g and a maximum of 19.0 g. The berries are obovate in shape and turn a uniform golden yellow when fully ripe. They are even in size, with a distinct stylar scar and abundant bloom.
The skin is of medium thickness and separates easily from the flesh, while the flesh separates readily from the seeds. The berries are juicy, free of pulp sacs, and possess a strong, rich aroma with excellent eating quality. Sugar content averages 16.8%, acidity is about 0.61%, and vitamin C content reaches 5.85 mg per 100 g of fresh flesh.
