Description
This new late-maturing flat peach variety ripens in early August in the Zhengzhou area, with a fruit development period of about 136 days.
The fruits are flat, smooth, and well-shaped, with a yellow base color. After bagging, the skin turns a beautiful orange-yellow without any red blush — very attractive in appearance.
Fruits average 213 g (about 7.5 oz), with large ones exceeding 310 g (about 11 oz). The orange-yellow flesh is non-melting, allowing the fruit to remain on the tree for over 15 days after ripening. It also has a long shelf life and excellent storage and transport resistance.
The flavor is richly sweet and aromatic, with soluble solids above 15%, and can reach up to 19% in some cases — a mark of outstanding quality.
The trees have moderate vigor, mainly bear fruit on medium and short fruiting branches, are self-fruitful, and high-yielding. Bagged cultivation is recommended for best fruit appearance and quality.
