Zhongtao No. 25 Blood Peach (中桃25血桃)

Zhongtao 25 is a newly developed red-fleshed fresh-eating peach variety bred by the Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In Henan Province, it matures in mid to late June, with a fruit development period of about 78 days. The fruits are round and well-shaped, weighing 187–252 grams on average, with some exceeding 350 grams.

The flesh is bright red and rich in anthocyanins, giving it high nutritional value and health benefits. It is a slow-melting, freestone type, with a soluble solids content of 13–15%. The flavor is richly sweet, and the overall quality is excellent. This variety produces pollen, is self-fruitful, and is extremely high-yielding.
