Description
It is a newly developed red-skinned pear cultivar released in recent years by the Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The fruit is nearly gourd-shaped with a regular and well-balanced form. The average single fruit weight is approximately 300-500 g, and it ripens in late August.
At maturity, the fruit develops a yellowish ground color with a red blush on the sun-exposed side, giving it an attractive appearance. The flesh is crisp, aromatic, and sweet, melts smoothly in the mouth, is very juicy, and has a sugar content of around 15%.
