Yuwen 6 (玉文6号芒果)

The Yuwen Mango is a hybrid variety developed using Chiin Hwang as the maternal parent and Irwin as the paternal parent.
Appearance: When ripe, Yuwen Mango exhibits a romantic pink color.
Size: Inherited from Chiin Hwang, the fruit is large, typically weighing between 500 to 1000 grams with the seed accounting for only 6% of the total fruit weight.
Flavor: It combines the excellent taste of Irwin with fine, almost fiberless flesh. The sweetness level is around 15 degrees Brix, comparable to Irwin, but with lower acidity, making its flavor and texture superior.
Disease Resistance: Yuwen Mango has better resistance to anthracnose compared to Irwin, and the fruit is less prone to developing blemishes after being picked.
The harvest period is from May to July.
Due to its exceptional flavor, low fiber content, large size, and high disease resistance, the Yuwen Mango is considered a high-value mango variety with a great cost-performance ratio (CP value).
