Description
The fruit of the Xuesi is slightly flattened and round, with a single fruit weighing between 10.6 and 12.5 grams. The skin is yellowish-brown, and the flesh is milky white, semi-transparent, with most of the surface featuring thread-like or blocky pale red streaks. The surface does not easily release juice, and the texture is fine, tender, and slightly crisp. It is juicy, sweet in taste, and of above-average quality, making it suitable for both fresh consumption and drying. The fruit matures in early October.
