Xindu (新都柚)

Description

It has small, oval-shaped fruits. The top of the fruit is flat with a slightly concave pistil point and a ring mark. The base of the fruit is relatively round. The peel is pale yellow, thin, and smooth, with densely packed, slightly protruding oil cells. The spongy layer is white, and the central column is medium to large and semi-solid. The segments are kidney-shaped and fairly uniform, with white, easily separable membranes. The juice sacs are fine, with white, crisp flesh. The juice content is moderate, with a balanced sweet and sour taste and a rich flavor.
