Description
The Xiema Apricot originated in Xiema Village, Taipingling Manchu Township, Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province, China. This variety is known for its outstanding fruit quality.
Individual fruits weigh approximately 60–100 g. When ripe, the fruit turns golden yellow with a red blush. The flesh has a sweetness of about 17° Brix and combines a soft, juicy texture with freestone characteristics.
Due to its excellent quality, Xiema Apricot has been recognized as a premium variety by the Research Institute of Pomology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
