Xiaoxueben (小雪本龙眼)

Description

The Xiaoxueben longan fruit is densely arranged, nearly round in shape, with a vertical diameter of 2.75 cm, a horizontal diameter of 2.94 cm, and a lateral diameter of 2.66 cm. The skin is gray-brown with prominent wart-like protrusions. The flesh is waxy white, soft yet resilient, sweet, semi-transparent, and not juicy, with little liquid. It separates from the seed relatively easily and has a pleasant aroma. The average fruit weight is 12.9 grams, with an edible portion accounting for 62%. The soluble solids content is 21.6%, and the average flesh thickness is 0.61 cm. This variety is particularly late-maturing, ripening in mid to late November, and can remain on the tree for 20 to 30 days.
