Description
Also known as Xinglong Purple-Flesh Hawthorn, produces flattened, round-shaped fruits with an average weight of 6.7 grams. The skin is deep purplish-red with small, dense yellow-brown spots. The flesh is blood-red, with a slightly sweet and sour taste, and has a fine, firm texture. The fruit has an edible rate of 81.2% and can be stored for up to 210 days.
Per 100 grams of fresh fruit, the edible portion contains 9.04 grams of soluble sugar, 3.15 grams of titratable acid, 4.61 grams of pectin, and 91.52 milligrams of vitamin C. The fruit matures in mid-October.
