Description
Jinmi Bingtang Orange features large, well-shaped fruits weighing approximately 280–360 g each. Rich in flavor and nutrition, it is completely seedless under commercial orchard cultivation. The flesh is crisp, tender, and juicy, offering a rich sweetness that is smooth and well-balanced, with a pleasant lingering aftertaste.
With soluble solids ≥14% and citric acid reduced to about 0.4% at maturity, the fruit delivers a harmonious sweet-to-acid ratio and an almost fiber-free texture. The peel is thin, smooth, and bright orange-yellow, with fine oil glands. Firm flesh ensures excellent storage and transportability, and the fruit can be easily peeled by hand, unlike many traditional navel orange varieties.
Harvested in mid to late November, Jinmi Bingtang Oranges can remain on the tree and be marketed after the New Year in frost-free regions. The variety is resistant to fruit cracking, with high and stable yields, making it an ideal choice for premium fresh consumption.
