Description
Also known as Fujiminori Grape, is a large-berried table grape variety highly valued for its impressive fruit size and excellent eating quality.
The clusters are large and loosely to moderately compact, typically weighing 500–800 g, and under good cultivation management can exceed 1,000 g. The berries are very large and round, with an average single berry weight of 12–18 g, and some berries can reach over 20 g.
At full maturity, the fruit develops a deep purple to dark violet color with an attractive bloom. The flesh is firm, juicy, and tender, with a pleasant sweetness and mild acidity. The flavor is rich and refreshing, and the soluble solids content generally ranges from 16–20%.
Fujiminori is a mid- to late-season variety, typically ripening in late August, depending on the growing region. The vine shows strong vigor and good productivity under proper management.
With its large berry size, appealing appearance, and excellent taste, Fujiminori is well suited for fresh market sales and premium fruit markets.
