Description

The berries have a thick, purple-black skin and are slightly smaller than Kyoho, yet still considered large, with an average berry weight of approximately 9.6 g. The variety ripens about one week earlier than Kyoho, reaching maturity in mid-August. It shows excellent and uniform coloration, producing a deeper black color than Kyoho, a trait attributed to its genetically high anthocyanin synthesis capacity.

Fruit set is more stable than that of Kyoho. In addition, the berries possess a pleasant muscat aroma, similar to that of the popular Shine Muscat. The sugar content averages around 18%, comparable to Kyoho, while acidity is approximately 0.6%, resulting in a balanced and agreeable flavor.

Bare root shipping.
