Description
It is an improved variety developed through γ-ray radiation mutagenesis from the seeded orah. It retains the strong growth, high sugar content, crisp texture, juiciness, rich flavor, low winter fruit drop, and long post-ripening tree-hanging period of the original orah, while completely overcoming the issue of having many seeds. The individual fruit is slightly smaller than the seeded variety, and its ripening period is about half a month earlier. When grown as a single variety, it has few or no seeds, with a vibrant appearance, crisp and sweet flesh, juicy texture, and a tight but easily peelable skin.
