Description
It is a seedling variation of the apricot that matures in mid-June, with individual fruit weighing between 26 and 38 grams. The flesh is orange-yellow, semi-transparent, and brightly colored. The fruit has a flat top with a prominent suture line, even coloration, and a smooth surface. It has a firm texture, a rich sweet taste, and a sugar content of 18.75%, with a hint of cantaloupe aroma. This variety is freestone, with a smooth pit, thin shell, and large, sweet, edible kernel. Once mature, the Pearl Oil Apricot can be stored at room temperature for 15 days without softening, making it a prized variety among apricots.
