Description
It is the most widely cultivated sweet orange variety in Taiwan. The fruit is spherical or elongated, weighing around 150 grams. The top of the fruit is rounded, and most have a distinct circular ring imprint, hence the name “Yinzi Tangerine” (Imprint Tangerine). When ripe, the skin is orange-yellow and adheres tightly to the flesh. The flesh is also orange-yellow, with a sweet, fragrant flavor and abundant juice. The juice content is between 45-55%, with a sugar level of 12-14 Brix and acidity of 0.5-0.6%, providing a rich and mildly fragrant taste.
