Lianjiang Guava (廉江番石榴)

Description

Also known as Sijitao Guava, is primarily grown in Hechun Town, Zhanjiang City. Due to its white, creamy flesh, it is also called “Hechun White Flesh” or “Hechun White Jade.” It flowers and fruits year-round, with individual fruits weighing between 150-300 grams. The fruit is round, with pure white flesh that is soft, sticky, thick, tender, and sweet. The fruit’s skin in spring and summer is yellowish-white, and the flavor is relatively mild. In autumn and winter, the skin turns from yellowish-white to a vibrant red, with some fruits showing a pink blush, and the flavor reaches its peak.
