Description
It has large, heart-shaped fruits weighing between 23 to 30 grams. The fruit with bright red skin is called Red-skinned Lan Zhu, while the one with a red-green skin is known as Green-skinned Lan Zhu. The flesh is thick, milky white, sweet with a slight tartness, and has a fragrant aroma. It has a high percentage of shriveled seeds, with 78% of the fruit being edible. The fruit matures in late June.
