Color
The skin features a white base with pink tones, offering a softer hue compared to the bold and passionate red of varieties like All Red, July Red, or Birth Red. Its color resembles a shy young lady, with soft pinkish skin, radiant and blushing. Hanging quietly on the branch, it doesn’t seek attention, yet captivates you at first sight, leaving you longing for the moment to savor its charm.
Aroma
It exudes a perfectly balanced fragrance—not too strong nor too faint—that lifts your spirits with its pleasant scent. Unlike some varieties with overpowering aromas that fill an entire room or those with a cheap, overly intense perfume-like smell, its scent is subtle and harmonious. Much like its color, it is fresh and natural, with a delightful and understated elegance.
Taste
The sweetness is remarkable. Although I haven’t tried many early red varieties, I’ve noticed that high sweetness is a signature trait of Shuji Early and King Early varieties. This guava is sweeter than most I’ve tasted. Unfortunately, I don’t have a sweetness meter to provide precise measurements, but its sweetness is unforgettable and truly stands out.
Texture
The moment it touches your palate, it feels as though your taste buds come alive, creating a sense of exhilaration. The flesh is delicate and smooth, yet not overly soft or mushy. Its texture can be summed up in one phrase: “perfectly balanced.” Tasting it is like indulging in a feast of flavors, leaving you completely enchanted and thoroughly satisfied.
