Description
It is a new hawthorn variety developed from an early-maturing bud mutation of the Da Jin Xing variety. The fruit is flattened and round, with deep red skin and large, dense spots. The shoulders of the fruit are slightly flat and multi-ridged. The flesh is greenish-white, with a dense texture and a sweet and sour flavor. The average fruit weight is 18.2 grams, with the largest reaching 25 grams. Each fruit contains 4 to 5 seeds.
In terms of nutritional content, the fruit has a total sugar content of 8.44%, a titratable acid content of 2.64%, a sugar-acid ratio of 3.197, a vitamin C content of 68.39 mg per 100 grams, and a flavonoid content of 0.156%. The fruit matures in mid-September.
