Description
Also called Kaohsiung 2, is a variety bred from the naturally pollinated seeds of Indonesian red-fleshed guava. It is a green-skinned, white-fleshed guava with a round shape. The average fruit weight is about 530 grams, making it a medium to large-sized fruit. In the summer, the flesh thickness increases by about 20% compared to Pearl Guava, and the sugar content is 1-2°Brix higher. The flesh is delicate, and the surface of the fruit skin is slightly uneven.
