Description
The Huping Jujube is named for its shape, which is wide at the base, narrow at the top, and slightly tapered in the middle, resembling a red-glazed bottle. The average fruit weighs 20 grams, with larger fruits exceeding 50 grams. It is long and obovate, with thin, deep red skin, thick, crisp flesh, and ample juice, offering a sweet flavor with a small pit. This variety is excellent for fresh consumption and is even better when dried or made into wine jujubes. The fruit ripens in late August.
