Description
Also known as Huaiju No. 1 Bingtang Orange or Kou Orange, this variety is an upgraded selection of Jinmi Bingtang Orange. The fruit is flattened-round in shape, with an average weight of about 250 g per fruit. It features an orange-red peel that is smooth and glossy, with fine oil glands.
The flesh is bright orange, exceptionally sweet, and rich in juice, with a soluble solids content of 14–15%. Its texture is soft and delicate, melting in the mouth with a clean, honey-like sweetness.
The fruit matures in early November and can be left on the tree until after the New Year, retaining its sweetness and quality. It also offers excellent storage performance, with flavor remaining stable after storage.
This variety effectively overcomes the low juice content of traditional rock sugar oranges and the limited storability of Jinmi, making it a premium, high-quality orange variety with strong commercial appeal.
