Guofeng No. 17 Plum Tree (国峰17号李)

Guofeng No. 17 Plum was developed by the Liaoning Academy of Fruit Tree Sciences through a cross between Haicheng Apple Plum (female parent) and Hunter (Qiuji / Autumn Princess) (male parent). The fruit is round in shape, with an average single fruit weight of 118.5 g and large fruits reaching up to 142.5 g.

At maturity, the skin turns purplish-red, while the flesh is yellow with red coloration near the skin. The texture is firm and crisp, and the fruit is semi-freestone. It is juicy with a rich, full flavor. The soluble solids content ranges from 14–16° Brix, making it a well-balanced, high-quality dessert plum.
