Description

It is characterized by its early maturity, large and high-quality fruits, stable and abundant yields, and strong adaptability. The plant grows vigorously with a round-headed shape, robust branches, short internodes, and dense foliage, making it suitable for cultivation in subtropical regions such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian, and southern Guizhou.

Key characteristics:

1. Early Maturity: In the Nanning region, it matures between July 15-23, which is 7-10 days earlier than the local Shixia variety.
2. Uniform Fruit Size: The fruit clusters are compact and spherical, with an attractive brown-yellow appearance. The average fruit weight is 12.2 grams, with the largest reaching up to 18 grams.
3. Small Seeds and High Edibility: The edible portion rate is generally 73.8%, with a maximum of 76.9%.
4. Thick, Crisp Flesh: The fruit is dry with a pleasant taste, and the soluble solids content ranges from 18.7% to 20.8%.
5. High and Stable Yields: Each tree can produce between 18 to 25 kilograms of fruit.
6. Processing Capability: The fruit can be processed into dried longan, with a yield rate of 36.4%.
