Description
The Guangfeng Majia pomelo has a high oblate shape with an average fruit weight of 1.67 kilograms. It matures in early November, which is later than the mainstream varieties on the market, creating a staggered sales window and effectively filling a market gap. Compared to other pomelo varieties, it has full, juicy sacs, a slightly acidic sweetness, and is easy to eat. The flesh is rosy red, delicate, sweet, crunchy, nutritious, and refreshing. It has good storage properties and can be kept under normal conditions until around April of the following year.
It is rich in nutrients, with high nutritional value. It is packed with proteins, sugars, vitamins, and minerals. Each 100 grams of Majiayou juice contains 64-68 milligrams of vitamin C, 7-11 grams of total sugar, 9%-11% soluble solids, 0.6%-0.8% total acid, a solid-acid ratio of 14-15, and an edible rate of 63%-68%.
