Description
Also known as the Da Hong Apricot, gets its name from its deep red color when ripe, resembling the face of Guan Yu. This traditional variety from Laoshan is a representative apricot of Qingdao. It matures in late June, with fruits weighing between 36 to 50 grams. The fruit is oval-shaped, with a shiny skin when ripe, and has a sweet and fragrant flavor. It is a freestone apricot, known for its excellent storage and transportation qualities, making it ideal for both fresh consumption and processing.
