The German Black Apricot is a unique hybrid fruit combining the genetics of apricot, plum, and sweet cherry. It ripens in mid-June, with individual fruits weighing 40–70 g.
The skin is deep black, while the flesh turns red when fully ripe and is rich in anthocyanins. Once mature, the sugar content reaches approximately 18–22%.
