The Dongbianyong longan, originally from Wuchuan, Guangdong, is known for its large fruit, which is yellow-brown in color and resistant to cracking. The average weight of a single fruit is 12.5 to 15 grams, with the heaviest reaching up to 20.85 grams. The flesh is dry and crisp, with a sweet honey-like flavor.
