Description
The Deep Red yangmei originated in Shangyu, Zhejiang, and is a local good variety in Zhejiang.
The fruit is large, spherical, with an average single fruit weight of 13.1 grams and a maximum of 16.3 grams. The fruit swells in early May and matures in mid-to-late June, with a harvest period of up to 20 days. The mature fruit is deep red, tender, juicy, sweet and sour, and has a strong flavor; the soluble solids content is 12.4%, the total acid is 1.3%, and the edible rate is 94.6%, with excellent quality.
