Danxia Red Pear (丹霞红梨)

The Danxia Red Pear has an average fruit weight of 260 grams and is nearly round in shape. The skin has a green base color with an orange-red blush on the sun-exposed side, giving it an attractive appearance. The flesh is crisp, juicy, extremely fine in texture, and has a sweet flavor with a slight fragrance. The soluble solids content is 13.5%. In Central China, Danxia Red pears mature in late August and can be stored in cold storage for 4 to 5 months.
