Da Hong Pao (大红袍荔枝)

The fruit is relatively large, with an average single fruit weight of about 25 grams. The fruit is heart-shaped or elongated heart-shaped, with a bright red skin. The flesh is milky white, with a sweet and slightly tangy taste, a faint fragrance, and a slightly astringent aftertaste. The texture is relatively fine, with an edible rate of ≥75%, total acidity ≥0.149%, and soluble solids content ≥18.1%. It matures in late July.
