Description
Cui Mi is the world’s first intergeneric hybrid fruit, a new variety created by crossing longan and lychee. Cui Mi belongs to the longan species but also possesses characteristics of lychee. The fruit is nearly round, with an average weight of 11.5 grams per fruit and an edible rate of about 70%. The skin is yellow-green with noticeable cracked patches, giving it a bumpy appearance—a feature typical of lychee. The flesh is relatively thick, waxy yellow in color, and has a sweet, juicy flavor with a fragrant aroma.
