Crystal Guava (水晶番石榴)

Description

Crystal guava is a seedless variant of the Thai large-fruit guava. The fruit is oblate, and the maximum single fruit can grow to 500 grams; the color of the peel is yellow-green, and the epidermis has obvious ribbed longitudinal lines; the fruit is crisp, sweet and fragrant, seedless, crisp, tender, good taste, resistant to storage and transportation, and of excellent quality, with a sugar content of 10-16 degrees. It is suitable for planting in low-altitude frost-free or light frost areas in southern Fujian Province. The time from flowering to maturity is between 80-100 days. At present, it has begun to replace the New Century and Pearl Guava in production, and is an excellent variety worthy of development.
