Description
Mr. Huang Jinhuang developed this variety through hybridization, with the White variety as the maternal parent and the Keitt variety as the paternal parent.
The fruits are large and elongated, similar in size to papayas, with high yield and excellent quality. The flesh is tender and nearly fiberless, weighing between 0.6 to 2.0 kilograms per fruit. The dimensions of the fruit are approximately 19.8 × 10.3 × 9.2 centimeters (length × width × thickness). It has high sweetness with a sugar content of 17.4 Brix. The acidity is 0.24% when the fruit is not fully ripe, but becomes almost negligible once ripe. The sugar-to-acid ratio is 73. The seeds are very flat and thin, weighing 57 grams and constituting only 7% of the fruit’s weight. With its excellent quality and nearly fiberless texture, the flesh is described as very delicate and smooth when eaten.
