Also known as Tang Jujube, is a traditional main cultivar grown in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. It is a dual-purpose variety for fresh consumption and drying. The fruit is medium to large, with a long cylindrical shape, averaging 16.7 grams per fruit, with the largest reaching 31.7 grams. The size is fairly uniform, with a thin, reddish-brown skin and thick, firm flesh with low juice content. Fresh jujubes have a sugar content of 36%, an edible rate of 94.2%, and are considered high quality. The fruit enters the white ripening stage in late August, fully ripens in early to mid-September, and has a concentrated harvest period. The drying rate is 47%, and dried jujubes have a sugar content of 79%.
