Description
The bicolor yangmei is native to Fujian Province. The fruit is slightly oblate with a raised pedicle and a single fruit weighing 13 to 15 grams. The color of the fruit is different from top to bottom, the upper 2/3 is purple-black and the lower part is red, hence the name bicolor yangmei. The flesh is thick and soft, juicy, with a small core and a sugar content of 9.45%. It tastes sweet and has excellent quality. It matures in late June and is suitable for fresh consumption and winemaking. This tree species is highly adaptable and cold-resistant and drought-resistant.
