Description
Also known as Burmese Grape, is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia. The fruit is round to oval, grows in clusters directly from the trunk, and ripens to yellow, pink, or light purple. Each fruit weighs about 10–25 grams.
Harvest season is typically May to July. The flesh is translucent white or pale pink, juicy, and sweet to tangy, often compared to lychee or sour plum. It contains 1–3 inedible seeds. Eaten fresh or used in juices and preserves, it’s prized for its refreshing flavor and ornamental value.
