Description
The fruit is flat and round in shape, large in size, with an average weight of 415 grams per fruit. When overly large or when the tree’s vigor declines, the fruit shape may become irregular. The skin is yellowish-brown with relatively small, moderately dense lenticels, and a smooth surface. Bagged fruits have pale yellow skin with less noticeable lenticels.
The flesh is white, finely textured, crisp, and juicy, with few stone cells. It contains 12.0%–16.0% soluble solids and has a sweet and sour taste, accompanied by a fragrance reminiscent of the 20th Century pear. The quality is rated excellent. This is an extremely late-maturing variety, ripening in mid to late October, with strong storage resistance.
Bare root shipping. Some leaves and branches will be trimmed off before shipping.
