Description
It is a renowned variety from the jujube-growing regions of Henan. Known for its excellent quality, it is suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing. Named for its chicken heart-like shape, the Chicken Heart Jujube is small and cherry-sized, with a glossy deep red color and medium-thick flesh. It has a small, dense pit, adding to its high medicinal value, earning it the title “carrier of a hundred medicines.” The fruit is medium to large, elongated, and often displays a rosy blush on the sunny side before full ripeness, giving it an attractive appearance. The skin is thin and shiny reddish-brown, and the flesh is crisp, juicy, and intensely sweet with a hint of tartness, leaving no residue when eaten.
